Luau Festival

If you are an amateur of reggaetton, rock and acoustic music, you will find what you are looking for in the Luau festival which takes place every year for 11 years in January in Cachoeira do Dioney in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Psicodália festival

This time this independent festival aims to be multicultural, alternative and more typically Brazilian for those who would like to participate in the Brazilian culture thanks to the artists coming from all over Brazil. You will find various variants of rock as the progressive rock or the rural rock, but also  jazz music, blues, mpb, soul, reggae and obviously regional musics there. It takes place in the city of Rio Negrinho for 10 years at the beginning of February, with numerous activities as studio theater, dance, movies projection, circus and exhibitions among others.

Afrodite festival cultural

Organized during the week of the women’s day in March, this festival pays tribute to all the women by allowing them to express themself through the art: music, dance, photography, cinema, sculpture you can admire the feminine art in Parana, Campo Magro.

It’s all true festival

At the beginning of April, find in São Paulo as well as in Rio de Janeiro the biggest South American documentary movies festival ” It’s All True “, more known under the name ” É Tudo Verdade “.  During this festival, hundred Brazilian and foreign documentaries are thrown to the public, in various places of the city, accompanied with meeting and discuss of all kinds.

A Belgian festival in Brazil? It is possible, it actually exists and it attracts music lovers’ electronic large number during April in the state of São-Paulo in Itu.

Alma festival

Rock in Rio

THE big event born in Rio de Janeiro in 1985: the Rock festival in Rio, a musical festival in which the biggest international artists participated and which gathers in every new edition, millions of people in several big cities. International movie festival

The giant of the movie festivals of Latin America takes place in Brazil every year at the end of September in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Projections of movie, meetings and debates, this festival will attract all the amateurs of the cinematographic art besides the numerous actors and the film-makers.

Sónar São Paulo

Organized annually since about twenty years during November, this festival has the particuliarity to mix music and technology. Festival of Arte Negra

This festival takes place in Belo Horizonte, it is dedicated to the art and to the African culture, the African people are very represented in Brazil in particular in the state of Minas Gerais.
